| Theodore Samuel Teeder Kennedy (born December 12, 1925) is a retired professional ice hockey centre. Born in Port Colborne, Ontario, Kennedy played fourteen years in the NHL; all of them with the Toronto Maple Leafs. He won the Hart Memorial Trophy in 1955 and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1966. In 1998, he was ranked number 57 on The Hockey News' list of the 100 Greatest Hockey Players. In 1951 He as Captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs greeted the future Queen Elizabeth II when She visited Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto. | ||
